About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and creative Sports Content Creator to join the content services team on a per-project basis. The ideal candidate is a sports enthusiast with a sharp editorial sense, capable of transforming ideas and match updates into engaging digital content. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality content across platforms and ensuring visual and textual excellence in all outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling written and visual content covering local and international sports events, matches, and trending stories.
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
  • Translate sports-related content (from listening or reading sources) with high editorial quality and contextual accuracy.
  • Edit and customize ready-made social media templates using Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Collaborate with design teams to align content with branding and publishing goals.
  • Monitor trends and breaking news in the sports world to create timely and relevant content.
  • Repurpose long-form content into engaging snippets for different platforms (e.g. headlines, captions, reels concepts).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sports field, digital content creation, or a similar role.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design tools.
  • Strong editorial skills in both writing and translation, especially from audio (listening) and text (reading) sources.
  • Excellent command of written Arabic.
  • Solid knowledge of football (local and international), plus a good grasp of other major sports is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during live events.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SEO principles.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media scheduling tools.
  • Video editing basics or knowledge of Adobe Primier or CapCut.
