Job Description:

As a Video Editor, you will be crucial in bringing our clients' management and advertising campaigns to life through expertly crafted video assets. Leveraging your technical expertise and creative vision, you will edit video footage, apply advanced post-production techniques, and collaborate closely with the creative team to translate complex ideas into visually captivating video narratives that engage target audiences and drive business results.

Responsibilities:

•  Edit video footage, including cutting, trimming, arranging, and synchronizing audio and visual elements to create cohesive and impactful video productions

•  Apply advanced video editing techniques, such as color correction, visual effects, motion graphics, and sound design, to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video content

•  Work closely with the creative director, videographers, and marketing team to understand the project objectives, target audience, and desired messaging, and translate these into visually compelling video narratives

•  Optimize video files for various distribution platforms, ensuring optimal quality, size, and format for web, social media, and other digital channels

•  Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest video editing software, codecs, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for workflow improvements

•  Adhere to strict project timelines and budgets, delivering high-quality video assets within agreed-upon deadlines

•  Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the video production process

•  Provide feedback and guidance to junior video editors, contributing to their professional development and the overall growth of the video production team

•  Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience

•  Take a brief to grasp the production team's needs and specifications

•  Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity

•  Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film

•  Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects

•  Create rough and final cuts

•  Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running

•  Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency

Requirements:

•  Bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production, Digital Media, or a related field.

•  Minimum 0-3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment.

•  Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with a strong understanding of the entire post-production workflow.

•  Proficient in motion graphics and visual effects software, including Adobe After Effects.

•  Excellent storytelling and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling video content.

•  Strong attention to detail and the capacity to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.

•  Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and compression techniques for optimal delivery across multiple platforms.

•  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

•  Proven work experience as a Video Editor.

•  Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, and DaVinci for coloring).

•  Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio..

•  Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.

•  Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
