ATLANTIC Engineering Company for Energy Technology (ECET) in Cairo is a French based international company producing 1.2 millions of water heaters and towel-dryers every year. Managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, driving cost savings by analyzing spend, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery to meet business needs

  • Maintain close contact with internal clients to better understand their needs and be able to meet them
  • Participate in and even manage calls for tender
  • Negotiate offers
  • Negotiate and implement contracts when necessary (in collaboration with the legal department)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a force for proposals
  • Conduct sourcing to identify new providers, new solutions, and improvements
  • Conduct benchmarks

  • Make improvement proposals (price, quality, lead time, service), and provide advice to my internal clients

  • Identify and manage risky situations

  • Participate in dispute management with suppliers when necessary

  • Identify risky situations (monopoly, supplier failure risk, etc.) and propose solutions

  • Communicate internally

  • Collaborate with the Indirect Purchasing community (sharing best practices, etc.)
  • Maintain activity reports
  • Participate to the drafting and implementation of the indirect purchasing strategy

  • BSc in Mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • Excellent user Microsoft Office.
  • SAP User.
  • Excellent in English
  • Communication Skills.
