More About The Role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Regional Technical Commercial/Proposal Lead in Cairo, Egypt with Signify.

• Expert knowledge to manage a team of quote support specialists across one or more countries or business units.
• Manages tenders in every stage of the process, shaping the solution and deciding whether to compete and at what price levels.
• Oversees daily operations, workload distribution, and performance monitoring of quotation activities.
• Defines KPIs for quotation accuracy, response time, and customer satisfaction.
• Partners with Commercial Leaders, Commercial Excellence and IT to drive digital enablement and continuous improvement.
• Owns process standardization, escalation handling, and training for regional or cluster teams.
• Accountable for team results and operational governance; limited supervision from management.
• Continuously optimizes LEAN quotation process, considering changes/updates in
• Develops solutions that require a multidisciplinary approach and knowledge of basic quoting principles, -theories and -concepts
• Manages a team of quote support specialists and prioritizes incoming requests
• Support the Systems & Services and Product Sales professionals to negotiate contracts with customer, establish and implement the delivery plans and strategies for successful proposal delivery in line with end customer and Signify expectations
• manage successful relationships between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the proposal development is a success
• Assist in creating detailed quotes or proposals based on customer requirements.
• Ensure that all aspects of the quote are accurate, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Prepare project technical submittals, including product data sheets and catalogues.
• Handle all documentation for project approval processes, such as prequalification files, warranty letters, spare parts lists, technical letters, comparison sheets, and test certifications/reports.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, proposals, and related documentation.
• Communicate with customers to clarify their requirements and provide information about quotes.
• Address any queries or concerns from customers regarding the quotes.
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions with clients to provide support and technical expertise.
• Manage vendor registration processes with clients and authorities.
• Update and track the status of quotes and ensure timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as finance and procurement, to gather necessary information and ensure quote accuracy.
• Ensure that quotes comply with company policies and industry regulations.

• University Bachelors or Masters Degree in Technical or Engineering field
