The
Site Survey and Installation Engineer
is responsible for overseeing the measurement, surveying, and execution of wooden furniture and products at client sites. This role ensures that all products comply with the required standards and specifications, and provides technical supervision over the final installation processes to guarantee high-quality project delivery within the specified timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Site Surveying and Measurement:
  • Conduct site visits to client locations to take accurate measurements and detailed reviews of installation areas (e.g., kitchens, wardrobes, doors, etc.).
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical drawings and plans, in collaboration with the design and production teams.
  • Ensure the site is prepared and ready to receive and install the wooden products.
  • Installation Supervision:
  • Directly supervise the installation technicians on-site, guiding them to ensure the installation process adheres to engineering drawings and approved quality standards.
  • Review and document all installation phases, resolving any technical challenges that may arise on site.
  • Ensure the correct tools and equipment are used for the installation process.
  • Quality and Documentation:
  • Prepare and submit daily survey and installation reports to management.
  • Conduct a final quality check upon completion of the installation and ensure customer satisfaction before signing the handover certificate.
  • Maintain continuous coordination with the Production, Design, and Sales departments to ensure a smooth flow of information and products.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Interior Design

Experience:
3 to 5years
of experience in site surveying and installation, preferably within woodworking/furniture factories (e.g., kitchens, cabinets, and interior joinery).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and
    Shop Drawings
    .
  • Proficient in using engineering drawing software such as
    AutoCAD
    .
  • Good knowledge of wood specifications, quality standards, and the types of accessories used in furniture.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments and meet strict deadlines.
