Material and planning engineer
(SHEET METAL INDUSTRY)

Job Description :-

* Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials to meet production requirements.

* Develops and maintains reports relating to process, product and operation on-time performance.

* Correlated scheduling of orders with machine loading and labor availability to obtain optimum utilizations

n of equipment, efficient allocation of labor, and on-time delivery of products.

* Performs physical counts of raw material and work in process inventory, identifying and solving inventory variances.

* Measure forecast error and order fulfillment for these accounts

* Keep tracking for any quotations received

Job Requirements :-

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field such as Industrial Engineering)

* 1–3 years of experience in material planning and inventory control (preferably in a manufacturing environment)

* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

* Effective written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to be flexible in a dynamic work environment.

* Knowledge of Production and Purchasing functions in a Manufacturing Environment.
