Position Overview

We are hiring a
Level 1 SOC Analyst
to join our 24/7 Security Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, detecting potential threats, and supporting incident response efforts in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events across various
    SIEM/SOC platforms
    (e.g., FortiSIEM, Splunk, QRadar, AlienVault).
  • Identify, analyze, and escalate suspicious activity to L2/L3 analysts.
  • Assist in
    forensic investigations
    and threat response efforts.
  • Maintain security dashboards and support regular reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with Security Engineers on proactive threat detection and platform optimization.
  • Participate in awareness training and contribute to documentation processes.
  • Operate within a
    24/7 rotational shift environment
    (3 shift cycles/day) as part of a 6-analyst team.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science,
    Information Systems
    , or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience
    in cybersecurity or IT security.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of SIEM/SOC platforms such as
    FortiSIEM
    ,
    Splunk
    ,
    QRadar
    , or
    AlienVault
    .
  • Understanding of
    network security
    ,
    endpoint protection
    ,
    firewalls
    , and
    threat landscapes
    .
  • Familiarity with cyber threats and common attack techniques.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong
    analytical and troubleshooting
    abilities.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication
    skills in English.
  • Team-oriented mindset with an eagerness to learn and grow.

Certifications (a plus):

  • CompTIA Security+
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • Splunk Fundamentals
    or other vendor-specific training.
