Chinese Translator

Job Purpose:

Responsible for providing accurate and efficient translation between Chinese and Arabic/English in both written and verbal forms to ensure smooth communication between Chinese experts, local teams, and management. The role supports factory operations, technical discussions, and administrative coordination, ensuring that all instructions, reports, and communications are clearly understood and properly documented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, technical discussions, and site visits between Chinese and local staff.

• Translate technical documents, manuals, reports, and production-related materials from Chinese to Arabic/English and vice versa.

• Support Chinese engineers and specialists during production, maintenance, and quality activities to ensure correct understanding of procedures.

• Accompany Chinese staff during factory operations to assist in communication with local employees.

• Review translated materials for accuracy, tone, and consistency, ensuring they align with the company's standards.

• Support HR and administrative teams in translating employee communications, training materials, and policy documents when needed.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive company information.

• Coordinate with departments to ensure translated content meets operational deadlines.

• Assist in cross-cultural communication and help build strong collaboration between Chinese and Egyptian teams.

Qualification & Education:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Translation, or related field.

• Years of Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Technical competencies:

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, and English.

• Strong written and verbal translation skills.

• Knowledge of technical and industrial terminology.

• Excellent MS Office and document formatting skills.
