Role Overview

The SAP Data Migration Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end data migration process in SAP implementation or upgrade projects.

This role ensures data integrity, quality, and consistency while coordinating between technical and functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP data structures, ETL processes, and data migration tools.

Your Role

  • Lead and manage the SAP data migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business and project requirements.
  • Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to define data migration scope and requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAP and legacy systems.
  • Manage data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.
  • Develop and execute data migration plans, schedules, and test strategies.
  • Utilize SAP migration tools (LSMW, BODS, Migration Cockpit, etc.) to ensure efficient data movement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration.
  • Conduct data reconciliation and validation to confirm successful migration.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team on best practices in SAP data migration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during migration.
  • Document migration processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.

Your Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP data migration projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, PS, SD, MM) and underlying data structures.
  • Expertise in ETL tools such as SAP BODS, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, and other data
