Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Accountant located in Qesm El Obour. The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for managing and tracking incoming payments, preparing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts. The role also involves reconciling account balances, generating financial reports, and collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, review, and monitor customers' accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Visit clients to reconcile account statements and verify invoices, orders, and payments.
  • Match issued invoices with delivery orders and agreed prices.
  • Follow up on collections and ensure timely settlements.
  • Coordinate with the sales and finance teams to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of reconciliations, reports, and client confirmations.
  • Support the monthly closing process and prepare aging reports for management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or client accounts.
  • Hands-on experience in account reconciliation and direct client visits.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and documentation flow.
  • MUST HAVE Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP Dynamics experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to clients when required

Preferred:

  • Experience in manufacturing, trading, or distribution industries.
  • Knowledge of VAT, invoicing procedures, and credit management
