Senior Business Analyst

Role Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Business Analyst
to join our product and development team.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation — owning the
Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
, managing
test cases
, and coordinating
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

You'll work closely with
product managers, designers, developers, and QA teams
to translate business goals into clear, testable, and actionable technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements & Analysis

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process mapping to gather and analyze business needs.
• Document and validate
  functional and non-functional requirements
  for all modules and features.
• Identify process gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities within existing systems.
• Translate business workflows into detailed
  use cases
  ,
  user stories
  , and
  data flow diagrams
  .

SRS Ownership

• Prepare, manage, and maintain the
  Software Requirements Specification (SRS)
  as the single source of truth for the project.
• Ensure all requirements are
  clear, consistent, and aligned
  with product objectives.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to confirm technical feasibility.
• Continuously update and version-control the SRS throughout the development lifecycle.

Test Case Design

• Derive
  test cases and acceptance criteria
  directly from SRS and business requirements.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure
  complete test coverage
  across all features.
• Maintain
  traceability
  between requirements, test cases, and deliverables.
• Support the QA process by clarifying business logic and expected outcomes.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Plan, coordinate, and manage
  UAT cycles
  with internal users or clients.
• Prepare
  UAT scenarios
  , walkthroughs, and success criteria based on real workflows.
• Collect, document, and track
  UAT feedback and issues
  to closure.
• Obtain
  formal UAT sign-off
  from stakeholders before deployment.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with
  Product Managers
  ,
  Developers
  , and
  Designers
  to ensure alignment between business goals and technical delivery.
• Participate in
  Agile ceremonies
  (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Support Project Managers with
  progress reporting, risk tracking, and change requests
  .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
  in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–6 years
  of experience as a Business Analyst in a software or SaaS environment.
• Proven experience preparing
  SRS documents, BRDs, and test case documentation
  .
• Strong understanding of
  UAT processes, system testing, and QA collaboration
  .
• Familiarity with
  Agile/Scrum methodologies
  .
• Excellent documentation skills using tools like
  Confluence, Notion, or Google Docs
  .
• Proficiency with
  project management tools
  (Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or Azure DevOps).
• Ability to create
  process flowcharts and diagrams
  using tools like
  , Lucidchart, or Figma
  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with
