Job description

  • Ensure that mechanical installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for materials and equipment required for the project.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Ensure that all mechanical works are executed safely and meet the quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to the construction team.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspections, and progress updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical-related issues that arise during construction.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems into the overall building design.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in construction or site-based projects.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, firefighting, etc.) and related codes and standards.
