Job Purpose:

Lead, develop and grow the Transaction Banking Business by building the Product Development and Advisory & Structuring areas across all business segments to Business Banking, SME, Corporate Banking and Treasury & FI clients in UAE and Egypt.

Build AAIB's reputation as the market leader amongst its peers in UAE and Egypt.

Become a core revenue contributor to AAIB by building the Cash Management and Trade Finance businesses.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Actively drive the bank's transformation initiatives and projects related to the GTB area.
  2. Build a sustainable organization for Product Development & Management and Advisory & Structuring to all business segments (Business Banking, SME, Corporate Banking and Treasury & FI) in UAE and Egypt.
  3. Develop and lead projects that ensure AAIB become a market leader in Transaction Banking and sustains it with developing leading edge products and creating automated and digitally enabled operational processes and enhancing client experience.
  4. Ensure Building and continuously enhancing the digital platforms, including online and mobile banking, to all business segments (Business Banking, SME, Corporate Banking and Treasury & FI).
  5. Drive the development of Transaction Banking products with latest up-to-date digital channels.
  6. Drive the process of Identification opportunities in the market to generate strong revenue and profitability.
  7. Develop an advisory strategy for cash management and trade finance products that allow the bank to secure strategic business and satisfy customer needs prompting assets, liabilities & P&L growth.
  8. Lead strategic and key deals involving structured cash management & trade finance solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting or any related discipline
  • Minimum 15 – 20 years of experience in Corporate Banking/Transaction Banking with experience in the Middle East.
  • Strong experience in Cash Management and Trade Finance products.
  • Prior experience in Digital Transformation in other banks in the Middle East.

  5. Strong customer-centric mindset focusing on elevating service quality, strengthening client relationships and portfolio management, and providing operational excellence.
  6. Ability to navigate a rapidly evolving financial landscape with adaptability, resilience, and forward-thinking vision and insight.
