About the Role

We're looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Specialist to manage our brand's presence across digital platforms. The ideal candidate understands how to build community, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results — all while maintaining brand integrity and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

Create engaging content tailored to each audience, maintaining brand voice and visual consistency.

Monitor social media trends, audience insights, and competitor activity.

Manage social media calendars and schedule posts using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Buffer.

Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster positive community interactions.

Collaborate with marketing, design, and communications teams to align campaigns with company goals.

Track and report on KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, and conversion metrics.

Ensure all content and communications follow brand guidelines, copyright laws, and data-security policies.

Identify and mitigate security or reputational risks on social media platforms (e.g., phishing, impersonation, or misinformation).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization.

Strong understanding of analytics, SEO, and paid social advertising.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with cybersecurity awareness and online reputation management.

Creative, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with influencer marketing or employer-branding campaigns.

Graphic design or basic video editing (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Knowledge of LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Meta Ads Manager.

Understanding of accessibility best practices for social content.
