EHS Advisor

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and GSK standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with global standards.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental sustainability.

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• 3 5 years of experience in EHS program implementation and development, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
• Knowledge of key regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, NEBOSH, and Egyptian regulations) and their application in industrial settings.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Certification in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., BOHS, NEBOSH).
• Experience in managing environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and influence teams to drive EHS improvements.
• Familiarity with ergonomic risk reduction programs and containment solutions.
• Experience in conducting EHS training and promoting best practices.
