The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that support business decisions, The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
  • Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
  • Update and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets, providing explanations and insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Coordinate with department heads to gather and consolidate budgetary inputs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial metrics.
  • Determine financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results.
  • Conduct analyses of financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work closely with operational and finance teams to provide financial insights and support.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 Years of relevant work experience
  • Sound experience in Financial Modelling and Analysis.
  • Strong experience in MS tools (Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills
