Nile ICT Systems is hiring a Senior Presales Engineer for a full-time job on-site in our office in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities

  • Gather assess and understanding customer requirements, both from a business and technical perspective.
  • Design effective solutions with client focused thinking and strong combination of technical and business relevance.
  • Provide network solution design and consulting to customers and to inhouse team such as Presales, Salesperson, Installation and service team.
  • Provide networking products /solutions demonstration and Proof-of-concept (PoC)
  • Create a trusted technical advisor relationship with customer and internal teams.
  • Lead the meeting and present the network infrastructure solution design to prospective customer.
  • Develop solution architecture, detailed equipment list (BoM), build presentations, review and response of TOR/REF/RFI documents.
  • Work with local distributor to deliver solutions to customer.
  • Work with Vendors to validate solutions, create DR and get the best prices.
  • Able to manage manufacturers/ Distributors/sub-contractors, establish business relations and do commercial negotiations.
  • Send technical requirements to manufacturers/ Distributors/sub-contractors and request a competitive quotation. Negotiate for best prices and lead delivery terms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer or communication engineering, Computer science or any related fields with Electronics/Computers/ Electrical as major.
  • Candidate must have 7 to 8 years of experience in Security Systems design and estimation. He/she will report to Head of Presales and directly work with sales team & clients, collaborate with CAD, operations and administration.
  • Must have expertise in designing medium size to large-scale integrated physical security solutions, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, ANPR, Access Control, Gate Barrier, Intercom, Digital Signage, Passive and Active Networking Systems.
  • Must have experience in proposal document and estimation sheet preparation.
  • Experience in reviewing CAD drawing and provide inputs to CAD department.
  • Experience in bid management, attending pre/post tender meetings, solution presentations.
  • Experience in presenting the designed solution/architecture in post tender meetings and solution presentations to client/contractor.
  • Experience in below products is of high advantage: Simplex, Edward , Eaton Milestone, Axis, Lenel, Gentec, Hawha, Pelco, HID, Suprema, CommScope, Panduit , RDM , HP, CISCO, Crestron, Bosch, etc (and-or) Equivalent products.
  • Experience in designing Structured Cabling, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, PABX, Digital Signage
