ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Application Developer to join our global software development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using .NET MAUI and/or React Native. You will collaborate with development teams located across multiple geographical regions, working within a distributed environment that leverages the Microsoft .NET technology stack for backend APIs and services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically strong, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural, and collaborative setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and/or React Native.
  • Collaborate with distributed backend and API development teams that operate primarily in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
  • Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other developers located across multiple time zones to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient communication with backend systems.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, sprint planning, and architecture reviews across global teams.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following team coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (preferably in Azure DevOps) for mobile app build and deployment automation.
  • Implement mobile-specific features such as push notifications, secure authentication, offline data handling, and responsive UI layouts.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development and share knowledge within the global engineering community.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

  • At Least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience developing mobile applications.
  • Proficiency with .NET MAUI (or Xamarin.Forms) and/or React Native frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and understanding of object-oriented and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with MVVM, Redux, or similar architectural patterns.
  • Experience with mobile app release processes (Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-cultural and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, or Azure Notification Hubs.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or MSAL authentication flows.
  • Familiarity with Identity platforms including Okta or Azure AD.
  • Understanding of mobile app security, data encryption, and secure storage.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with remote teams.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated testing for mobile applications.
