Organization Unit Purpose
The Relationship Manager is responsible for achieving Bank's goals and growth strategies by being accountable for the following assigned responsibilities by the Head of MNCSs:
- Loans Volumes
- Deposits Volumes
- Portfolio Profitability
- Off Balance Sheet Volumes
- Enhance client's utilization ratio
- Managing and Coordinating with the daily clients requests to ensure providing an excellent customer service
- Ensure reaching set KPIs
Job Purpose
To originate, manage and grow a portfolio of Chinese corporate relationships by delivering tailored financing, trade, cash management and treasury solutions. The relationship manager will act as an advisor to the clients, ensuring the profitability of the bank, while maintaining high credit quality and compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Job Content
- Identify and acquire new Chinese corporate clients operating in Egypt
- Act as the primary contact point for Chinese clients, building long-term strategic relationships
- Prepare and execute account plans, setting clear revenue and relationship growth targets.
- Cross-sell the full suite of banking products (lending, trade finance, treasury, deposits, and cash management solutions).
- Deepen wallet share by identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide financial advisory, market insights, and strategic support to strengthen relationship with client
- Conduct credit analysis, financial reviews, and risk assessments to structure bankable solutions.
- Prepare and present credit proposals to internal committees for approval.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring early identification of problem accounts and proactive risk mitigation.
- Drive revenue growth from lending, trade, cash management, and FX/treasury products.
- Monitor portfolio profitability, ensuring optimal pricing and returns in line with bank objectives. Achieve annual revenue, deposit, and asset growth targets.
- Ensure all activities comply with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) regulations, compliance and internal policies.
- Uphold high standards of AML, KYC, and customer due diligence procedures.
- Promote ethical banking practices and safeguard the bank's reputation.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's or similar post graduate study is preferred).
Experiences
Minimum 7–10 years' experience in corporate banking covering Chinese corporates
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent understanding of corporate credit, structured finance, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
- Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written).
Behavioral Competencies
- High interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid Negotiation skills.
- High presentation skills.
