1. Role Overview

The
Mid-Senior ERPNext Developer
supports the design, customization, and delivery of ERPNext applications under the supervision of senior team members.

This role focuses on building high-quality, maintainable ERPNext modules and APIs, while gradually owning sub-projects and integrations.

2. Key Responsibilities

ERPNext Customization

  • Develop new DocTypes, custom scripts, and reports in alignment with business requirements.
  • Extend ERPNext modules through client and server scripting.
  • Maintain ERPNext upgrades and handle migration of custom apps between versions.

Integrations & API Development

  • Develop and consume REST APIs for system interoperability.
  • Implement integrations with external systems such as CRM, payment gateways, and document services.
  • Automate reports, notifications, and business rules using Frappe background jobs.

System Deployment & Maintenance

  • Set up and maintain ERPNext environments via
    bench
    or
    Docker
    .
  • Support troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to CI/CD scripts and test automation.

Documentation & Team Collaboration

  • Document technical processes, app structures, and workflow designs.
  • Participate in Agile sprints, contributing to planning, estimation, and testing.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX, QA, and functional teams.

3. Required Technical Skills

  • Proficient in

  • Understanding of

5. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

    of experience in ERPNext/Frappe development.
  • ERPNext certification or demonstrable projects on GitHub preferred.
