Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Maintenance Engineer located in Borg El Arab. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, electrical maintenance, and conducting repairs. The role also involves ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, and utilities

-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and implement effective solutions

-Ensure minimum downtime and quick response to equipment failures

-Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to extend equipment lifespan

-Keep detailed maintenance records and reports for continuous improvement

-Coordinate with production and other departments to support operational needs

-Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance Engineering, and Maintenance & Repair skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Experience in the adhesives and sealants industry is a plus
