Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented RCM Specialist to manage the end-to-end revenue cycle for our physical therapy clinics. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate billing, smooth claim submission, timely reimbursement, and effective communication with payers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full revenue cycle, including charge entry, claim submission, follow-up, and payment posting.

Review patient documentation and verify insurance eligibility and benefits.

Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and work denials, rejections, and appeals.

Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations.

Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports on collections, A/R aging, and overall financial performance.

Coordinate with front-desk teams to ensure accurate patient information and authorization requirements.

Maintain strict confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in RCM, medical billing, or healthcare reimbursement required.

Experience with physical therapy or outpatient billing is a plus.

Strong knowledge of insurance verification, CPT/ICD-10 codes, and EHR systems.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
