Position: Internal Auditor

Location: 3rd Industrial Zone A1, 10th of Ramadan, E. Sharkya

Reporting To: Head of Internal Audit

Job Purpose:

The Internal Auditor will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance, and risk management processes within the organization. This role involves conducting audits, identifying risks, recommending process improvements, and supporting management in maintaining the company's integrity and operational excellence.

A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preparing the annual audit plan based on risk assessment.
  • Define audit objectives and scope, conduct fieldwork and control testing.
  • Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Present audit results to management and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Identify key business risks and propose process improvements.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management and internal control systems.
  • Guide and support junior auditors in performing audit assignments.

B. Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Finance major).
  • CIA certification is a plus.
  • Professional Experience:
  • 5–7 years of experience in internal auditing (manufacturing background preferred).
  • Experience in risk-based auditing and internal control evaluation.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and data analysis/reporting tools.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small audit team.
