Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Procurement Officer, located in Cairo. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships. They will oversee purchasing operations, ensure timely procurement of materials and goods, and collaborate with various departments to meet organizational needs. The role also includes monitoring inventory levels, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Procurement and supply chain management skills, including vendor evaluation and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities for cost analysis and market research
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for overseeing purchasing activities and inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proven ability to use procurement and enterprise software tools
  • Prior experience in procurement or supply chain within the construction or home requirements industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
