We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer for a full-time hybrid or part-time role based in Cairo, Egypt, with opportunities for partial remote work. The UI/UX Designer will craft user-centered designs by developing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Responsibilities include conducting user research, designing intuitive user experiences, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and functional interfaces. The designer will also contribute to maintaining and improving the aesthetic and usability of Tapi's platform.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to design user-friendly mobile interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that bring ideas to life.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to refine designs.
  • Ensure consistency in design systems, typography, and color palettes across the app.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends and mobile UX best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects (academic or professional).
  • Familiarity with
    React Native app design principles

  • Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.).
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards in mobile apps.
  • Prior experience in agile development environments.
