Forvis Mazars is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Office to lead our Kuwait practice. This senior role requires a professional who can oversee all aspects of office operations, ensuring excellence in both technical audit delivery and day-to-day management.

Responsibilities

As Head of Office, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and smooth functioning of the Cairo office. You will oversee all departments, manage teams, monitor workflows, and ensure that the highest standards of quality and professionalism are maintained across the firm.

Your scope will include:

  • Overseeing all audit and assurance engagements and ensuring technical quality.
  • Managing daily office operations and supervising department heads.
  • Overseeing staffing, workflow management, and resource allocation.
  • Ensuring compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and local regulations.
  • Acting as the key point of contact between the Cairo office and regional leadership.
  • Contributing to business development and maintaining client relationships.
  • Managing office administration and operations — from people to processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in external audit, preferably within a Big 4 or top-tier international firm.
  • Proven experience in supervisory or managerial roles, overseeing multiple departments or teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS, ISA, and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA, etc.) are preferred but not required.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage both operational and technical aspects of the business.
