Role Description — Golang Developer (Full-Time, On-Site in Cairo)

AlphaNeural AI is urgently hiring a Golang Developer
to join our core engineering team in Cairo.

This role focuses on building high-performance backend systems that power AI models, API gateways, and enterprise-grade authentication workflows across the AlphaNeural ecosystem.

You will work directly on integrating AI APIs, optimizing API routing, enhancing authentication layers, and developing infrastructure components that serve thousands of developers and enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and high-performance APIs in Golang
  • Integrate AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, OpenWebUI, model endpoints, inference APIs)
  • Implement and maintain API Gateway logic (LiteLLM, Kong, Tyk, or similar)
  • Build secure authentication layers (OAuth2, JWT, Enterprise SSO, Keycloak/Okta)
  • Develop microservices for model routing, token counting, billing, and user management
  • Optimize scalability and performance across distributed systems
  • Collaborate with the AI, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver platform features
  • Participate in code reviews and architecture planning

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Golang
    with real production experience
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs
  • (OpenAI, OpenWebUI, Together, Hugging Face, Anthropic, etc.)
  • Experience with API gateways
    such as LiteLLM, Kong, Tyk, or NGINX-based routing
  • Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SSO, and identity management systems
  • Understanding of RAG concepts
    , vector databases, embeddings, or LLM pipelines
  • Basic familiarity with
    Solana or Rust
    (not mandatory, but a strong plus)
  • Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and architectural reasoning
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with distributed compute, decentralized networks, or blockchain
  • Knowledge of GPU orchestration or AI inference frameworks
  • Experience with scalable billing, token usage tracking, or model routing systems
