Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for an Import Specialist. The Import Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing import and export operations, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations. Daily tasks will include coordinating shipments, handling customs clearance processes, communicating with clients and vendors, and resolving any issues related to import/export activities. Additionally, the role will involve monitoring documentation and ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Import operations.
  • Proficiency in International Trade and logistics management.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and vendors.
  • Ability to use IST ERP system.
  • Attention to details, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments. simultaneously
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and clearance procedures and NAFEZA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is considered a plus.
  • Prior experience (1-3 years) in a logistics or freight forwarding company.
