Mobile Application Developer Team Leader

Job Summary:

Responsible for leading a team of mobile developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications across iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of mobile applications.
  • Make technical decisions regarding mobile frameworks, app architecture, and performance optimizations.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and app store guidelines.
  • Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and trends.
  • Manage and mentor a team of mobile developers, setting goals and evaluating performance.
  • Allocate tasks, manage sprint planning, and track progress using Agile methodologies.
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile applications.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes for mobile apps.
  • Monitor app performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of mobile application development experience.
  • 1–3 years leading or mentoring development teams.
  • Proven experience delivering apps to
    Google Play Store

    Apple App Store
    , or cross-platform releases

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS app development
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin for native Android development
  • Experience with Flutter for cross-platform mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture)
  • Expert in API integration (REST) and asynchronous programming
  • Experienced with CI/CD pipelines for mobile
  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices (data encryption, secure storage, authentication etc. etc.)
  • Strong Experience with push notifications, background tasks, and local storage management
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and conduct thorough code reviews
  • Familiarity with third-party SDKs and integration (analytics, maps, payments, social login)
  • Experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
  • Proven ability to lead mobile teams delivering high-quality, maintainable, scalable apps
