Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented
Senior Civil Technical Office Engineer
to lead the technical review, coordination, and documentation of civil engineering works across our projects. This role plays a critical part in bridging design and execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review civil and structural shop drawings, technical submittals, and BOQs to ensure alignment with project design, codes, and specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP, and structural teams to resolve design issues and prevent on-site conflicts.
  • Prepare or review method statements, RFIs, material submittals, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical support to site teams, assisting with queries and offering solutions to technical challenges.
  • Validate quantities and participate in value engineering and cost optimization efforts.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Attend technical meetings with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Supervise the preparation and review of as-built drawings and final documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide quality control over technical outputs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 7–10 years
    of relevant experience in technical office roles within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong command of civil design standards, detailing, and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office; knowledge of structural software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with local and international codes (ACI, BS, ASTM, etc.).
  • Excellent technical writing, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
