Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor technical engineers and draftsmen.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Review and approve team outputs such as drawings, material submittals, and design reports.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for design clarifications and technical approvals.
  • Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify design discrepancies and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Liaise between site and technical office to ensure smooth execution of works.
  • Support site teams with technical guidance, drawing clarifications, and material approvals.
  • Coordinate with procurement, planning, and cost control departments for project deliverables.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and control of drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Maintain updated logs for drawings, approvals, and revisions.
  • Support the implementation of company procedures and QA/QC standards.
  • Prepare progress and status reports for management review.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of experience in construction technical office work.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, materials, and project documentation procedures.
  • Excellent command of AutoCAD, MS Office, and other engineering software.
  • Solid understanding of project coordination between design, site, and client representatives.
