Company Description
Founded in 1959 by Yehia El-Henawy, Dahab Egypt started as a small textile shop in El Azhar and has grown into a leading landmark in the Egyptian textile market. We expanded into import activities in the 80s and 90s, sourcing from global markets and establishing our own textile manufacturing factory. In the 2000s, we expanded into the wholesale market across Egypt and established "Dahab." In 2020, we opened the Dahab/Yehia El Henawy Mall.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an operations manager based in Cairo, Egypt. The operations manager will oversee daily operations, ensure efficient workflows, manage procurement and inventory, and enforce quality standards. The role involves supervising teams, optimizing processes, monitoring budgets, and collaborating with various departments to achieve organizational goals. Additionally, the operations manager will identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in operations management, workflow optimization, and process improvement.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with procurement, inventory control, and vendor relations.
- Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and experience in textiles manufacturing or a similar domain is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
