Job Summary
The ADO Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, and modification of automotive wiring harness systems in accordance with customer requirements, Sumitomo standards, and automotive quality systems. The role acts as a key interface between engineering, production, quality, and customers to ensure accurate and timely implementation of engineering changes.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, modify, and maintain wiring harness designs based on customer specifications and engineering change requests.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documents.
• Manage engineering change notices (ECN) and ensure proper implementation across production lines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
• Support new model launches and phase-in/phase-out activities.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
• Participate in problem-solving activities related to design or production issues.
• Communicate with customers and internal global teams regarding technical updates and clarifications.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and production processes.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• 0–3 years of experience in automotive wiring harness or manufacturing engineering (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Knowledge of automotive wiring harness components and drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Understanding of APQP, PPAP, and ECN processes is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
