Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, for an Infrastructure Engineer. The role involves managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring robust network security. Day-to-day tasks include implementing infrastructure solutions, monitoring the network, and enhancing performance and reliability to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Structural & Aesthetic Design Engineer – Lighting Poles and Concrete Foundations

Location: Egypt – Cairo or Zagazig (On-site work required)

Industry: Manufacturing and Installation of Lighting Poles, High Masts, and Decorative Metal Products

Responsibilities:

Design steel poles (standard / decorative / high mast) and their concrete foundations according to approved international codes.

Perform structural load calculations (wind, self-weight, vibration, fatigue).

Prepare detailed drawings for base plates, anchor bolts, and weld connections.

Develop innovative and aesthetic 3D models of poles and decorative metal products for use in catalogs and marketing presentations.

Produce detailed and design drawings using modeling and analysis software.

Prepare reinforcement schedules for concrete foundations and coordinate designs with production and site departments.

Prepare design reports and technical compliance documents for projects and clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in designing steel poles and concrete foundations.

Proficiency in relevant design codes: AASHTO / AISC / Eurocode / ACI / SASO.

Ability to combine precise structural analysis with creative 3D aesthetic design.

Preferably experienced in decorative metal design or façade works.
