About the Role

This is a remote role, reporting to our office in Zahraa Al-Maadi, Cairo.

We're looking for an experienced
Social Media Moderator / Community Manager
to manage online social media pages and ensure engaging interactions across our clients' digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone who loves communication, understands brand tone, and thrives in fast-paced online environments particularly
during evening hours (4:00-11:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Community managment for social media pages during evening hours (4:00-11:00 PM)
  • Monitor and engage with audiences across social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) in real time.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally in alignment with brand voice and tone.
  • Escalate sensitive issues, customer complaints, or potential crises to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful environment within online communities.
  • Track engagement trends and provide daily moderation and sentiment reports.
  • Collaborate with the content and creative teams to provide insights from audience interactions.
  • Stay updated on current social trends, platform updates, and best practices for community engagement.

Requirements

  • Minimum
    2 years of experience
    in
    social media moderation or community management
    , preferably within an
    advertising or digital agency
    .
  • Excellent written communication skills in
    English
    and
    Arabic
  • Strong understanding of brand tone and digital etiquette.
  • Ability to handle multiple accounts and high message volumes calmly and professionally.
  • Flexibility to work
    evening shifts (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
    , including weekends or public holidays if needed for campaign support.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).
