Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food and Beverage Captain at Marriott Mena House, Cairo. The F&B Captain will oversee daily operations of the food and beverage service areas, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating team members, maintaining staff efficiency and morale, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests. The role is based in Cairo and involves working closely with management to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
• Knowledge of food service best practices and maintaining high service standards
• Proficiency in customer service with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry is preferred
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service and hospitality
