We are seeking a seasoned Senior Human Resources Professional to lead our HR initiatives in the Agriculture & Environment sector. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace culture while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and promoting employee engagement across our expanding organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in strategic HR management and a deep understanding of the agricultural landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of the company.
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent within the agriculture and environment sectors.
  • Oversee employee performance management programs, including goal-setting, evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations relevant to agriculture and environmental practices.
  • Facilitate employee training programs and workshops focused on health, safety, and sustainability best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR matters and organizational development.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, workplace satisfaction, and retention across all levels of the organization.
  • Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.
  • Oversee HR metrics and reporting to assess the effectiveness of various HR initiatives and programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role, preferably in the agriculture or environmental industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, labor laws, and regulations common to the agriculture sector.
  • Proven track record in strategic workforce planning and talent management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze HR data and metrics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in developing and implementing employee engagement and retention programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational development, employee relations, and conflict resolution strategies.
  • Proficiency with HR technology and applicant tracking systems.
