Role Description

We are looking for a passionate and talented Social Media Specialist & Content Creator to build our brand's voice and amplify our digital presence. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a creative individual to own our social media strategy and execution. You will be the architect of our online community, telling the Portolearn story and connecting with professionals across the MENA region.

As we grow, the plan is for you to become the leader of a dedicated social media team by mid-2025.

Qualifications

• Content Creation & Curation:
• Develop, write, and design engaging content (graphics, short videos, carousels, etc.) for all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) that aligns with our brand and educates our audience.
• Translate complex course topics (like PMP, Agile, Data Science) into simple, compelling, and valuable social media content.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels.
• Community Management & Engagement:
• Act as the frontline voice of Portolearn, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Foster a positive and interactive online community by starting conversations, asking questions, and encouraging user-generated content.
• Strategy & Execution:
• Assist in developing and implementing a monthly social media content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic posting schedule.
• Execute the social media strategy to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive traffic to our website.
• Analysis & Reporting:
• Monitor key social media metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, website clicks).
• Provide monthly reports on performance and use data to suggest improvements for future content.

Necessary Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education:
   A bachelor's degree in Languages, Mass Communication, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Language Skills:
   
  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.
   A graduate of a language school or a holder of a certified English proficiency credential is ideal.
• Experience:
   2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in social media management and content creation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with major social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and their best practices.
• Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
• Ability to shoot and edit simple, high-quality video content for reels/shorts.
