About this Job:
We're looking for a
Business Development Specialist
to drive B2B growth by generating new leads, building strategic partnerships, and reactivating relationships with existing clients. This role is key to expanding our business channels, ensuring consistent revenue streams, and supporting OurKids' growth objectives. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-oriented, and experienced in forging long-term business relationships with a strong focus on sales execution and lead follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new B2B leads, including schools, nurseries, corporate clients, and wholesalers.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to establish long-term partnerships.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing and lapsed clients to nurture relationships and drive repeat business.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals that highlight OurKids' value proposition.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align offers, products, and service levels with client expectations.
- Track pipeline progress and sales activities, ensuring timely reporting to management.
- Maintain CRM and lead records with accurate data and follow-ups.
- Attend industry events and networking activities to promote OurKids and grow the business network.
- Analyze partnership performance and recommend new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline sales processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management.
- Strong track record of lead generation, negotiation, and closing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently with a focus on meeting sales targets and KPIs.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up and pipeline management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or wholesale is an advantage.
