Key Responsibilities
Reels Production & Creative Ideation

  • Create high-quality, engaging Reels for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
  • Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and scripts based on monthly content themes and campaign needs.
  • Film yourself or others (when needed) with strong on-camera presence and clear storytelling.
  • Shoot at merchant locations to showcase offers available on the app (restaurants, entertainment venues, etc.).
  • Stay up to date with trending formats, sounds, and platform behaviors—and adapt them to Waffarha's brand identity.
  • Ensure every Reel reflects the brand tone (fun, energetic, youthful) while delivering clear messaging.

Multi-Market Content Localization

  • Create reel content tailored for audiences in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman.
  • Adapt tone, references, humor, and delivery to match each market's culture.

Editing & post-production

  • Edit Reels end-to-end including cuts, transitions, typography, sound sync, and color correction.
  • Produce multiple variations of the same idea for A/B testing.
  • Ensure final outputs meet platform best practices (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube Shorts).
  • Maintain a consistent visual style and branding across all markets.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Align with Content Specialists to ensure scripts, captions, and key messages are consistent.
  • Coordinate with the Design Team for visual assets, branded elements, and campaign themes.
  • Work closely with Community Management to monitor Reel feedback and adjust style based on insights.
  • Support Media Buying team when they require Reel ads with performance-oriented storytelling.

Campaign & On-Ground Integration

  • Create tailored Reels that support outdoor campaigns, malls & university activations, events, and seasonal promos.
  • Capture on-ground content (when required) and convert it into fast, engaging Reels.
  • Support in building teaser videos, campaign hype content, behind-the-scenes footage, and recap videos.

Social Listening & Trend Scouting

  • Continuously research market-specific trends for Egypt, KSA, and Oman.
  • Identify user-generated content, reviews, or social mentions that can be repurposed into Reels.
  • Monitor competitor content to maintain a strong creative edge.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 Years Experience in short-form video creation (influencer, creator, agency, or brand).
  • Strong on-camera presence and confidence in presenting content.
  • Proven portfolio of Reels/TikToks/Shorts.
  • Ability to ideate, script, film, and edit independently.
  • Strong understanding of trends on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Experience shooting on mobile + basic editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, After Effects etc.).
  • Ability to work across multiple markets (Egypt, KSA, Oman).
  • Flexibility for on-ground shoots at merchants or events.
  • Creative storytelling & content ideation.
  • Strong camera presence and delivery.
  • Video editing skills (mobile or desktop).
  • Understanding of marketing messaging & hooks.
  • Time management & ability to work under deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration with content, design, and media teams.
  • Awareness of regional trends across Egypt & GCC.
