Job Summary:

The Architecture Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing architectural aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring that work is carried out according to approved architectural drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with project stakeholders, contractors, and design teams to ensure the aesthetic, functional, and structural integrity of architectural elements.

Job Description:

  • Supervise and manage on-site architectural works
    to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineers
    to resolve site-related issues and ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
    for approval and execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks
    to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Report discrepancies or design conflicts
    and propose practical solutions to minimize construction delays.
  • Monitor project progress
    and prepare daily/weekly reports for management.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and vendors
    to ensure timely delivery of architectural components and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Assist in architectural design modifications or updates
    as required by site conditions or client requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in site supervision or construction management, preferably in architectural roles within the construction industry.
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and finishes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
