Inventory Controller

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory levels
    across all warehouse locations, ensuring alignment with project demands and company policies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock checks
    , investigate discrepancies, and prepare inventory variance reports for management.
  • Coordinate material receiving, storage, and issuing processes
    while ensuring proper documentation, tagging, and system recording.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of construction materials
    , including tools, consumables, and spare parts, to prevent damage or loss.
  • Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
    , highlighting stock availability, slow-moving items, and materials nearing reorder levels.
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and project teams
    to forecast material needs, support site requirements, and ensure timely material deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience
    in inventory control or warehouse operations within a construction company.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems
    (ERP, WMS, SAP, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction materials
    , tools, and equipment used in building and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    , with the ability to identify and resolve inventory variances efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
    , with the ability to work effectively with procurement, warehouse, and site teams under fast-paced project timelines.
