Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Power System Studies Engineer located in Nasr City , Cairo, Egypt. The Power System Studies Engineer will be responsible for conducting power system studies, performing power system analysis, and working on electrical engineering tasks related to power generation, transmission, and distribution. The role involves preparing technical reports, providing consultancy services, and delivering project management support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct power system studies including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting, and protection relay coordination.
  2. Perform harmonics analysis, insulation coordination studies, and neutral earthing reactor studies.
  3. Prepare and review technical reports and study documentation.
  4. Coordinate with design and protection teams to ensure compliance with SEC and international standards.
  5. Provide technical support during design and commissioning stages.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.


• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power system studies.


• Proficiency in ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSSE, and PSCAD.


• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.


• Previous experience with utility or consultancy projects is an advantage.
