Role: Senior Back end Developer

Location:
Giza, Egypt (on site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled
Back end Developer with solid experience in Python/Django and PostgreSQL,
who is passionate about designing and developing high-performing, secure, and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and optimizing modular architectures that power our multi-tenant SaaS platform, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and seamless integration across all components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend using Django & Django REST Framework.
  • Implement and enhance multi-tenant SaaS architecture, ensuring strict data isolation per tenant (DB-per-tenant or schema-per-tenant).
  • Integrate and maintain asynchronous workflows using Celery + Redis for scheduled and background tasks .
  • Design and optimize database models and queries in PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend integration ).
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines, environment consistency, and infrastructure scalability on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront).
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA testers, and product managers to deliver well-tested and production-ready modules.
  • Support integration of AI-driven modules for risk scoring, anomaly detection, and ticket automation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in backend development with Python and Django.
  • Proven experience building SaaS platforms (preferably multi-tenant).
  • Strong knowledge of Django ORM, Django REST Framework, and PostgreSQL (schemas, indexing, optimization).
  • Familiarity with Celery, Redis, Docker, and AWS Services (S3, EC2, RDS).
  • Experience integrating authentication systems (JWT/OAuth2) and managing session flows.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD, Git branching strategies, and deployment pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modular coding practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
