We're seeking a Planning Engineer to drive world-class planning and scheduling on large-scale projects across the Middle East. The role requires strong technical capability, contractor-side experience, and professional communication in English. Regional mobility may be required to support ACC's portfolio in UAE and KSA.

What You'll Achieve

Planning & Scheduling Excellence

  • Build, monitor, and update baselines and working schedules in Primavera P6 and advanced Excel.
  • Develop WBS, sequence activities, and perform early schedule analyses aligned to milestones and deliverables.
  • Keep schedules synchronized with site realities, subcontractor plans, and client requirements.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Partner daily with site teams, project managers, and functions to clear roadblocks and keep plans executable.
  • Surface variances early; support recovery and re-phasing actions.

Progress Tracking & Reporting

  • Produce weekly/monthly updates, look-aheads, and dashboards (incl. Power BI) for management and client reporting.
  • Maintain auditable records of updates, delays, and forecasts.

Resource & Time Optimization

  • Support resource loading/forecasting (labor, materials, equipment).
  • Coordinate with Procurement to secure critical items on time.

Risk & Delay Analysis

  • Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation plans.
  • Support EOT/impact assessments driven by site conditions, scope changes, or unforeseen events.

International Exposure

  • Contribute to assignments in KSA/UAE as needed, ensuring alignment with ACC standards and schedule requirements.

What You'll Bring

  • B.Sc. in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
  • 4–8 years' experience, including 2+ years in a Planning role on the contractor side (mandatory) with reputable firms.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and advanced Excel; working knowledge of Power BI for dashboards and reporting.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken/written); strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
  • Knowledge of claims, EOT analysis, and contractual terms is preferred.
  • PMP (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a strong teamwork mindset are preferred.
