Job Summary:
The Sales Director is responsible for leading and developing the sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth across all channels. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and ensuring the company achieves its sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and market growth.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to reach monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize sales strategies.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets effectively.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities.
- Implement best practices in sales processes, CRM management, and customer service.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to improve performance and retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a B2B or technology-driven industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
