Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture/interior design.
  • 5 years of experience is required.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent technical drawing skills are highly required.
  • Proficiency in Autocad 2D is a must.
  • Proficiency of 3D Studio Max & Photoshop is essential.

Job Description

  • Support and assist the design team to develop and execute appropriate design solutions per project, to fulfill clients' requirements.
  • Assist on Architecture and Interior design projects including; programming the client's needs, schematic design, design development packages, and construction packages.
  • Assists in design presentation production for client meetings, including assembling material boards and 3D visualization.
  • Assist in preparing space planning studies, plans, elevations, and perspectives as required using 2D and 3D software.
  • Assist in producing sketches and 3D models of design ideas and for final design presentations.
  • Acting as a technical adviser on site, checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations; ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
  • Preparing and revising bill of quantities to ensure cost-effective implementation of different projects.
  • Preparing weekly site reports and progress sheets, through weekly management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site, labor force, and the work of any sub-contractors,
  • Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed-on deadlines.
  • Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on the site.
  • Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials by getting samples from different suppliers, agreeing on a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
