Role Description

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing daily on-site operations, ensuring all construction activities are carried out in strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. This role requires close coordination with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful, timely, and high-quality execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure work is executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor project timelines, manpower distribution, and material consumption to maintain progress and efficiency.

  • Conduct routine quality inspections to verify compliance with required standards and specifications.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, documentation, and records throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges encountered during construction activities.

  • Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site operations.

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control measures.

  • Provide ongoing support to project managers in coordinating activities and ensuring successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in construction site supervision or engineering roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage on-site activities for medium to large-scale projects.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.

  • Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and quality assurance processes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar construction management software is a plus.

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.

  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

  • Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic project environments.
