Electrical Site Supervision Engineer

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project plans.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to guide on-site activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or non-conformities.
  • Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Participate in project meetings, contributing to planning, and decision-making processes.
  • Reviewing shop drawings for electrical systems.
  • Reviewing material submittals and data sheets of equipment and installations in line with specifications and design documents.
  • Inspecting installations and erections by contractor on site.
  • Following up the execution and timetable with the contractor to ensure the completion of works in a timely manner.
Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in electrical site supervision within the engineering or construction sector.

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and implementing electrical plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work full-time, onsite, and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.
