Key Responsibilities
Export Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute export sales strategies for assigned regions .
- Identify new markets, expand distribution networks, and open new export channels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive growth.
Sales Management & Target Achievement
- Achieve regional export sales targets and profitability goals.
- Prepare sales forecasts and annual export budgets for assigned territories.
- Monitor distributor performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
Distributor & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, importers, and key accounts.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and volume commitments.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to ensure alignment with growth plans.
Export Operations & Compliance
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, documentation, product registrations, and customs requirements.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve issues related to delays, documentation, or quality.
Market Visits & Representation
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor brand presence, pricing, visibility, and customer feedback.
- Represent the company at regional exhibitions, trade fairs, and international events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, production, and planning teams to support export-driven initiatives.
- Align export activities with company production capabilities, inventory plans, and business priorities.
Reporting & Systems
- Use
SAP / ERP systems
for sales orders, pricing updates, customer master data, and performance reports. - Prepare and present monthly sales reports, market insights, and performance dashboards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of experience
in export sales within FMCG or food manufacturing. - Proven success in managing regional markets .
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of export operations, international logistics, and trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently across assigned markets.
